曾于1996-1997年在國内清華大學工程力學系訪學，師從徐秉業教授研修彈塑性理論；1999-2000年獲國家公派留學基金資助，在加拿大Saskatchewan大學工學院土木工程系、師從D. G. Fredlund教授研修現代土力學和非飽和土力學。

從事大學工科理論力學、材料力學、彈性力學、塑性力學、數值方法、工程中的有限元方法、計算力學等課程的教學工作。

研究方向：固體力學、連續介質力學、土力學與工程應用、土體本構關系、數值計算方法。

參與國家自然科學基金項目研究一項，主持浙江省自然科學基金項目一項。現已發表土力學與工程應用和固體力學方面的研究論文十餘篇，其中多篇被EI收錄。

Resume of Jingyu Chen

Jingyu Chen received the B.Sc. degree in Physics from Ningxia University, Yinchuan, China, in 1984. He received the M.Sc. degree in Solid Mechanics from Air Force Engineering University, Xian , China, in 1990; and the Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering(geotechnical engineering) from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2007. From 1990 to 2002, he was an associate professor in Ningxia University. From 1996 to 1997 he was a visiting scholar doing research in Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity with Professor Xu Bingye in the School of Engineering Mechanics , Tsinghua University, China. He was a visiting scholar doing research in Soil Mechanics and Geotechnic Engineering with Professor D. G. Fredlund from 1999 to 2000, in Civil Engineering department of Engineering College, University of Saskatchewan, Canada.

He is currently the associate professor in Jiaxing University, China. His main research interests include solid mechanics, continuum mechanics, soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering, numerical analysis, finite element method in engineering.
